My darling niece just got engaged the other night. To prove just how darling she is, I’ve included a picture of her. Some people say that she and I look alike, and I’ll take that as a compliment.
I still remember the day she was born, and now she is getting married. My, how time flies! She’s a young thing, only 19, but who am I to judge? My sister was 20 when she got married. Granted, I was older when I married the sassy scotch drinker.
This is the first niece or nephew of mine to get married. The wedding is tentatively set for October. It’s quite soon, but that’s just a Utah thing. The last family wedding we had, she and I did a musical number together, and it was super fun. She played the violin, and I played the piano and sang. Maybe we’ll have to do an encore…
