My love for Royksopp and their collaborations with Robyn only grow. I was able to see them again this summer at the Hollywood Bowl. Royksopp and Robyn releases their EP just a few months ago, and I was very pleased with this addition to their discography. The title track was released as a music video about one month ago. It was beautifully shot in Mexico and with intertwining plot lines that hearken back to the Spanish Civil War.
“Do it again – feels like its an unstoppable pop mantra of something out of hand. A spiralling hypnotic maelstrom which pulls inwards. The video touches our hearts desires – deep passions, the revolutions full of hope and excitement, a dream of freedom, obsession, the ecstasy and escapism – the darkness – and it ends in a mix of violence and laughter, freedom and the loss of free will. All of this somehow ends on a note of hope through struggle. Something worth fighting for. Do it again.”
