Some people, including the sassy scotch drinker (SSD), have a difficult time understanding me, and, that’s fine, you all don’t have to understand me.
I stumbled upon this fun sitcom, New Girl, on Netflix while I was feeling ill. I realized as silly as Jess’s character is, I get it. Oddly, I feel like the writers of the show have been following me about and creating their script from my life moments.
Here is a classic snippet of the show that explains the world I come from. Ironically, the SSD reacts like the dude in the car with Jess. I tend to look at people as good, while the SSD doesn’t like people until he can find a use for them in his world, as he puts it.
P.S. Just don’t watch the whole episode. It ends with the point that you can’t just trust people and not all people are good. Lame!
P.P.S. I really do think that people are good. Some people just forget that they are.
P.P.P.S. Don’t tell the SSD I said that. We’ll end up having to agree to disagree again.
